Pokémon GO is closing out November with a love letter to Eevee's nocturnal evolutions: the Twilight Wishes event brings costumed Espeon and Umbreon back to raids from Tuesday, November 24 to Monday, November 30, 2026, flanked by two crowned Pikachu, boosted Shiny odds and a dedicated GO Pass. Here is the full program, checked against the official announcement.

The announcement landed on the Pokémon GO site on November 2, and it caught my eye immediately: these four costumed forms had only ever appeared at GO Fest 2024. This time there is no ticket and no global weekend, just One-Star and Three-Star Raids open to everyone for a week. If you collect Eeveelutions, this is the appointment of the season.
When does the Twilight Wishes event take place?
Twilight Wishes runs from Tuesday, November 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, November 30, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. local time. Field Research encounters rotate halfway through, on Thursday, November 26 at 10:00 a.m., and GO Pass rewards can be claimed until Wednesday, December 2 at 8:00 p.m.
A full week, set against the very end of the Twilight Trails season. The calendar at a glance:
| When | What |
|---|---|
| Tuesday, November 24, 10:00 a.m. | Event begins, first Field Research window (Applin, Maschiff) |
| Thursday, November 26, 10:00 a.m. | Research rotation: costumed Gengar and Drifblim, Bramblin |
| Monday, November 30, 8:00 p.m. | Event ends |
| Tuesday, December 1, 10:00 a.m. | Twilight Trails season ends |
| Wednesday, December 2, 8:00 p.m. | Last chance to claim GO Pass rewards |
Every time above is local time: no timezone math needed, your phone's clock is the referee.
Which costumed Pokémon return to raids?
Four costumed forms take over raids during Twilight Wishes: "Pikachu wearing a sun crown" and "Pikachu wearing a moon crown" in One-Star Raids, "Espeon wearing a sun scarf" and "Umbreon wearing a moon scarf" in Three-Star Raids, to quote the official announcement word for word. All four can be Shiny.
| Costumed form | Where to find it | Shiny available | First appearance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sun crown Pikachu | One-Star Raids | Yes | GO Fest 2024 |
| Moon crown Pikachu | One-Star Raids | Yes | GO Fest 2024 |
| Sun scarf Espeon | Three-Star Raids | Yes | GO Fest 2024 |
| Moon scarf Umbreon | Three-Star Raids | Yes | GO Fest 2024 |

These four costumes debuted at GO Fest 2024, the summer Necrozma headlined the show. Espeon wears its orange scarf stamped with a sun, Umbreon its midnight-blue scarf with a crescent moon: the day-and-night duo at its purest. Umbreon is my favorite of the pair, and not only in the game: those rings that glow in the dark are the whole idea behind our Umbreon crystal LED Pokéball, laser-engraved in 3D inside the glass, a year-round night light for €29.99.

Both crowned Pikachu fight in One-Star Raids: easy solos, even on a modest account. One collector's tip, do both versions, the sun crown and the moon crown count as separate forms in your Pokédex. And if the electric mouse also rules your nightstand, the Pikachu crystal LED Pokéball engraves it in crystal, soft glow included.
Which Shinies should you hunt during the event?
The official announcement promises an "increased chance to encounter Shiny Staryu and Shiny Elgyem" for the entire duration of Twilight Wishes. In the wild, Clefairy, Staryu, Elgyem and Rockruff appear more often, and every Pokémon featured by the event, costumed forms included, can be Shiny.
My priority order: Elgyem first, because a boosted rate on a Pokémon you rarely cross in the wild is a window that will not reopen soon. Staryu next, whose blue Shiny is one of the cleanest in the entire first generation. The crowned Pikachu One-Star Raids are worth chaining: with one free Raid Pass per day, the week hands you seven, and every battle is a Shiny roll.
What do the Field Research tasks give from November 24 to 30?
Event Field Research tasks reward Mega Energy and encounters, in two windows: Applin and Maschiff from November 24 at 10:00 a.m. to November 26 at 10:00 a.m., then costumed Gengar and Drifblim, joined by Bramblin, from November 26 at 10:00 a.m. until the event ends.

The second window is the one to circle: "Gengar wearing a Spooky Festival costume" and "Drifblim wearing a Halloween Mischief costume" are returning ghosts, Drifblim's outfit points straight back to the Halloween Mischief event that shaped the game's Halloween 2021. If you missed Pokémon GO's Halloween 2026 last month, this is a free catch-up session. On the Mega Raid side, Mega Beedrill, Mega Houndoom, Mega Sableye and Mega Manectric rotate all week, and the research tasks conveniently pay out their Mega Energy.
Is the Twilight Wishes GO Pass worth $4.99?
The free GO Pass arrives automatically when the event starts and covers the essentials: better odds of Lucky Pokémon and Lucky Friends from Rank 1, and 2× Stardust on catches from Rank 10. The Deluxe version costs US$4.99, or US$6.99 with six ranks of head start.

Deluxe adds extra encounters, an event-themed avatar pose, Star Pieces, Premium Battle Passes, and bumps the Stardust bonus from 2× to 3×. My casual-player verdict: if you plan to play every day of the week, the free pass does the job; Deluxe is for Stardust grinders and avatar-pose completionists. Above all, claim your rewards before December 2 at 8:00 p.m., after which they vanish.
What happens after November 30?
The end of Twilight Wishes kicks off a tight sequence: the Twilight Trails season wraps up on Tuesday, December 1 at 10:00 a.m. local time, and the next season takes over immediately, right in the middle of Pokémon GO's 10th anniversary year, the game having launched in July 2016.

And the calendar delivers a neat coincidence: on Monday, November 30 at 2:00 p.m. UTC, five hours before the event's last raid in Europe, the mystery countdown The Pokémon Company has been running since October 18 hits zero. November 30 is shaping up as a packed day for every Pokémon fan, between the final hour of costumed raids and an announcement whose content nobody knows yet.
