Pokémon Night Out is the first EDM concert in the franchise's history, staged for its 30th anniversary: Marshmello headlines with Alison Wonderland opening, on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, then on Tuesday, November 10 at The O2 in London. The Los Angeles show streams free on Twitch, and 30 minutes of watching unlocks an exclusive Pokémon GO avatar jersey, wherever you live.

The 30th anniversary year has been a parade of announcements since February, and between the box sets, the collabs and the advent calendars, I thought I had seen it all. Then Pokémon booked two arenas and one of the most famous DJs on the planet. I went through the press release, the Pokémon GO blog post and both venues' pages to answer the questions that matter: who plays, what it costs, and what you can get out of it without leaving your couch.
What exactly is Pokémon Night Out?
It is an electronic music concert created for Pokémon's 30th anniversary, under the "What's Your Favorite?" campaign. Two dates only: Los Angeles on October 24 and London on November 10, 2026. Entry is restricted to ages 16 and up, and the show promises sets and visuals built for the occasion, not a playlist slapped over anime footage.

The visual cast sets the tone: Pikachu, Mewtwo, Gengar, Umbreon, Greninja, Lucario, Zoroark, Lycanroc, Toxtricity and Ceruledge share the poster, all redrawn as neon signs on black. That lineup is no accident, these are the franchise's night-time Pokémon, the ones that look best under arena lasers. It is one more piece of the anniversary year, and we keep the full timeline in our article on Pokémon's 30th anniversary.
Who is playing Pokémon Night Out?
Marshmello headlines both dates, with Australian producer Alison Wonderland opening. In the announcement video picked up by Time Out in April, Marshmello promised "a very special, very curated set", an experience he says he has never delivered anywhere else. The Pokémon Company adds that both artists are genuine fans of the franchise, not one-night mercenaries.

One detail made me smile: Marshmello's favorite Pokémon is Mewtwo, and it is Mewtwo who owns the center of the key art, one arm raised in full DJ pose. Mewtwo has a loyal following in our shop too, the Mewtwo crystal LED Poké Ball (29.99 €) is one of our most viewed product pages, and its purple laser engraving glows with exactly the same stage-light presence.
How can you watch the concert for free?
The Los Angeles show streams live and free on the Pokémon Twitch channel (twitch.tv/pokemon) on Saturday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. Pacific Time. For UK viewers that is 2:30 a.m. in the night from Saturday to Sunday, October 25, and that night is also when the clocks go back, the time given here already accounts for it. On the US East Coast it is a far friendlier 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.
No stream has been announced for the London date: if you want to see the show without a ticket, the Los Angeles broadcast is the only way. Night owls get rewarded, everyone else can catch the channel's replays, but without the Pokémon GO drop that comes with watching live.
How do you unlock the Pokémon GO jersey without a ticket?
This is the part many Trainers were waiting for: the Pokémon Night Out baseball jersey for your avatar unlocks from home, by watching 30 minutes of the Los Angeles concert's Twitch stream. The drop is open to Trainers worldwide, once per account.

The procedure, checked against the game's blog post: follow the Pokémon channel on Twitch, link your Pokémon Trainer Central account to Twitch, watch 30 minutes of the live stream without minimizing the window (the progress counter pauses if you do), claim the drop from the chat pop-up or Twitch's drops inventory page, then grab the code on rewards.pokemon.com and redeem it on the Pokémon GO web store's offer redemption page. The code triggers a Timed Research that hands over the jersey, with "Pokémon 30" across the back and Mewtwo on the front panel.
What Pokémon GO bonuses run at the venues?
At the concert itself, Pokémon GO pulls out all the stops, provided you open the app inside the venue. Up to two Timed Research lines trigger there, with encounters with both forms of Toxtricity, Amped and Low Key, plus the jersey for anyone who did not already claim it through Twitch.

| Bonus | Detail | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| One-Star Raids | Pikachu, Shiny possible | at the venue |
| Three-Star Raids | Gengar, Shiny possible | at the venue |
| Location Background | Los Angeles or London backdrop on raid catches | at the venue |
| Timed Research | up to 2, Amped and Low Key Toxtricity encounters, jersey | open the app on site |
| Boosted spawns | 14 species, all Shiny possible | at the venue |
| Unown P, N and O | the initials of Pokémon Night Out, for the lucky few | at the venue |
| Lure Modules | extended to one hour (except Golden Lures) | at the venue |
The 14 boosted spawns lean hard into the night theme: Gastly, Voltorb, Alolan Marowak, Hoothoot, Murkrow, Houndour, Electrike, Carvanha, Shinx, Zorua, Joltik, Froakie, Dedenne and Rookidee. A Three-Star Gengar raid under arena neon is about as on-brand as this season gets: its glowing twin, the Gengar crystal LED Poké Ball, runs the same act on a bedside table. And if you would rather hunt ghosts closer to home, Pokémon GO's Halloween 2026 event starts October 27, we broke it down in full.
Tickets, times and prices: the practical details
Both dates are arena shows with a 16+ age limit. Tickets went on sale on April 17; at announcement time, NME reported Los Angeles prices from 115 to 431 dollars. As of mid-October the Los Angeles date is sold out or close to it according to specialist press, while London still has availability, listed from £55 before fees on Pokémon's own ticketing page in early September.

| Los Angeles | London | |
|---|---|---|
| Date | Saturday, October 24, 2026 | Tuesday, November 10, 2026 |
| Venue | Intuit Dome, Inglewood | The O2, Greenwich |
| Times | show at 7:30 p.m. | doors 6 p.m., show 7:30 p.m. |
| Ticketing | Ticketmaster | AXS |
| Availability | sold out or close (press, mid-October) | from £55 before fees (early September listing) |
| Age limit | 16+ | 16+ |
| Stream | live and free on Twitch | none announced |
Two details that save headaches in London: tickets bought from The O2 or AXS are mobile-only, displayed through the venue's app, and official resale goes through AXS Official Resale exclusively. A ticket from a third-party resale site can be refused at the door, and given the prices circulating there, sometimes triple face value, it is not a gamble worth taking.
What merch is there for Pokémon Night Out?
The event shop is run by Pokémon Center: logo t-shirts, a poster of the starring Pokémon backlit in neon, a bucket hat, a tote bag and a set of pins, one of them exclusive to each city. Most of it sells on site in limited quantities, with only part of the line available through the Pokémon Center online store, which ships to the US, UK and Canada.
There is good news for anyone left wanting more by that temporary shop: on October 21, The Pokémon Company announced a permanent store in London by 2029, its first outside Asia. The announcement, the history of the London pop-ups and what it changes for European fans are covered in our article on the permanent Pokémon store in London.

On the poster as on the main artwork, Lucario holds a prime spot, fist clenched inside its blue neon ring. Fans of the fighting jackal do not need a flight to London: the Lucario LED Poké Ball on a wood stand puts the same silhouette, 3D-engraved in crystal, on a shelf at home. And for Trainers who want to keep the Night Out glow going after the screen goes dark, our light-up Poké Ball collection covers nearly all ten Pokémon on the poster.
